The historic barn on Enderslea Farm was built by convicts in the 1850s and was the perfect setting to perform SWAN VALLEY STORIES in early May. With fabulous actors, Greg McNeill on guitar and Luke Hewitt on mandolin, we sang songs and read stories from diaries, letters and memoirs of early settlers. It was a tough life for those first European settlers, but tougher for the local indigenous people whose land was invaded, appropriated and changed. We
covered the best and the worst of the new Swan River Colony to full houses across the weekend.
